The New Farmer's Almanac, the best selling digital almanac 2 years running, is back with it's 2013 edition. This year, after receiving hundreds of emails, we decided to customizes this edition for our loyal readers. We have taken your suggestions to improve your reading experience for maximum enjoyment.
So what have we done?
First, the planting chart is now COMPATIBLE with ALL e-readers. We brought in the experts to get the bugs out.
Second we SIMPLIFIED the predictions by constructing them into simple lines instead of block paragraphs. Now you can find your region quickly and easily.
Third, we simplified the format of our RECIPES section and added more variety. This year we included
Meat and Poultry
Fish and Seafood
Pies (our "Kitchen Scientist" came out with a apple pie recipe that taste Just like Grandma's, flaky crust and all, and makes your house fill with the aroma of cinnamon.)
AND as a bonus, Cocktail recipes (because who doesn't like a good cocktail every now and then).
And for our new friend Maddy L. from Ms. Becker's 4th grade class, we made a chart showing you which Fish and Seafood is in season so you can go out and catch 'em! We want to thank you for your beautiful drawing of you and your family fishing on a sunny day and you and your class are welcome to come down and visit us anytime.
Wait, there's more! Because The New Farmer's Almanac is published near the end of the year, we decided to give something to those who make the popular New Years Resolution of losing weight. Trisha Fiske was kind enough to let us include her article "22 things to do to lose 22 pounds in 22 days". She takes you through the steps of not only losing weight, but keeping it off.
I know what your thinking. "That is a lot of improving, I wonder how much extra they are going to charge me?" Not a dime. One of the reasons we keep our Almanac at $2.99 is because we don't need to overcharge the customer to pay for our advertising, we grew our fan base from word of mouth . We were the first, we cater to our customers and, we don't sell ads in our Almanac and then charge you to look at them. We pride ourselves on square-dealing, and we will always be square-dealers.
So check out one of the only books you'll use all year round. You'll be glad you did.
